Can't Read My...

Nooo! Ever since I saw one of the acts on the Ku Bar Pop stage during Pride London, I'm slowly turning into a fan of Lady GaGa and it's all Poker Face's fault! The song is simply 2 catchy 2 get out of my head!

But believe it or not, apparently Lady GaGa explained that her hit song Poker Face is about bisexuality?! Basically it's about having an unreadable 'poker face' so that she can be with a man, but fantasise with a woman.

And in a recent interviews with HX Magazine, the 23- year-old blonde vixen told the magazine:

Are you really as boy-crazy as your lyrics suggest?
Yeah. Well, I'm girl-crazy too. I really depends on where I am. I love men, I love women and I love sex, but I'm actually pretty introverted right now because I'm so enveloped in my work, and it's hard to let anybody near that. People f*ck with your energy, and it's very hard to find people that are supportive of your art and don't want to take time away from it. A lot of times, boyfriends and girlfriends get jealous and want all your attention, and I really don't have time for that.

Do you consider yourself bisexual?
Sure. I mean, I don't really consider sexual orientation in general. It's like, people are born the way they are!

Well said GaGa, and congrats for being so brave and out, and cool, too! By the way, can anyone tell me who is the superhot guy that kisses her in the video? Some say it's Chance Crawford, but I think he's way hotter than the Gossip boy! What do you think?

Pls Bear With Me...

Hi guys, I'm sorry that I've not done any post since Pride London, this is due to a fault in my internet connection. It's... so... bloody... slow! Anyway, I'll be back on track once the internet is fixed. So don't give up on me just yet! Until then, enjoy what this Hot Macho has to offer!

What A Day...

OMG! I really had HEAPS of fun yesterday at Pride London 2009! In spite of an early start (yes, I woke up at 7:30 AM), there are perhaps two reasons why I enjoyed myself so much. The first was that I was allocated to do my stewarding duties on Oxford Street (near John Lewis the department store), one of the busiest section of the parade and it seemed like I had achieved a lot more compared to last year. I was VERY proud of myself!

The second was because I was actually hanging out with friends and meeting new interesting people throughout the day, which made such a big difference from when I walked around alone! Here I thank you all for making my day so brilliant, special and wonderful!

Guilty Pink-sure...

If I have to choose one colour to represent gays, it would have been pink. Apparently, whether it's true or not, pink has been associated with LGBT people because Nazis required LGBT people to wear pink triangles during WWII. It's a way to remember the tens of thousands of LGBT people who were murdered. Anyway, I've also heard 'complaints' that the colour pink was not included on the rainbow flag, so here's a special post for all the pink fans out there!

By the way, just for your info, only REAL MEN wear PINK! Well, I guess you have a rough idea what colour I'm gonna wear on Saturday. Let's show some Pink Power for Pride!

You Gotta Have Pride...

What's a gay pride without a gay anthem? If you're feeling the pride fever and wanna come out amidst a parade of rainbow flags, thumping beats and fiery diva vocals, then definitively opt for Pride by Johnna!

The 1996 UK dance hit is one brassy and loud affair that will send the message loud and clear to anyone standing in your way that you know who you are and ain't gonna fake it no more! Fabulous Darling!

Celebrate...

To celebrate the upcoming Pride London on Sat 4th July, I've come up with the idea to post one Pride-related topic on TMOP every day for the next five days! As always, I'll 'try' to make them as interesting as possible, even for those who don't enjoy the whole Pride thing!

Now, what comes first to mind in Pride? MEN of course! Oops, I mean the RAINBOW FLAGS holding by the men, a symbol of pride in the homosexual. So how about if we kick start the week by picking your favourite colour on the rainbow flag? Just be warned, my rainbow flag is more than just colour =P

40 Years On...

If it's summer, it's PRIDE season, and this year is a very special year for gay prides across the globe given the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots (a very good read if you wanna know more about it). I think it's fair to say that without those brave men and women on 28th June 1969, we wouldn't reach this far in history.

For me it's a time to reflect and look back at all that our community have accomplished by uniting and fighting for equality at all levels. It's also a time for me personally to look ahead and see what I can do in the future as there's still a lot of work to be done.

And finally it's a time to CELEBRATE and HAVE FUN with friends new and old! One of the biggest events in the U.K. is of course the Pride London festival on Saturday 4th July. The music is great, the men are hot, and the beer is cold! Plus I'll be volunteering (as a steward) once again! Let's just pray the sun will be shining this year =]

So how will you celebrate gay pride this year? Will you be attending a parade? A dance? A walk, a march? Share with us! Not matter what you gonna do, enjoy yourself and be PROUD!

Painted Foster...

Hunky British swimmer Mark Foster has joined a host of celebrities in a bid to fight poverty by striping off.

Wearing a body painted t-shirt on his beautiful torso bearing the slogan 'Poverty Sucks', the stunt kicks off the UK's first ever PoverTee Day campaign for Action Aid on 26 June. The aim of the day is to raise money and awareness for global poverty and hunger by asking people across the U.K. to simply wear t-shirts for the day for £2.

Born in Essex, the 30-year-old professional swimmer specialises in butterfly and freestyle at 50 metres. In terms of medals and longevity, Foster is among the most successful British swimmers of all-time.

All funds raised will help those living in poverty across the world. To donate and find out more, see poverteeday.org.uk.
