This Christmas...

Christmas has finally arrived and it supposes to be filled with love and joy, however, whenever I am all alone in my bed, there's always a loneliness inside of me for you to keep me warm at night.

This year, my christmas wish is no different from previous years. I still believe love will find its way and I wish you and I will meet someday, it's just that the nights are getting a bit cold these days and my teddy just doesn't cut it. So I keep asking myself,

Do you ever get lonely baby?
Don't you ever get tired of living that way?
Don't you ever wonder whether there's a better life out there? Yeah...
Do you ever think about what we had?
How you'd give anything to get it back?

'Lonely' (my love song for this christmas) is a magnificent power ballad by the Australian singer Shannon Noll, the runner-up of the first series of Australian Idol in 2003. It was released back in August this year, and it's the forth single from Shannon's second album 'Lift'. The video clip of 'Lonely' was shot in Sydney at the Star City Showroom as a live clip during his 'Now I Run' tour in July. One of the moodiest clips taken by Shannon, the clip follows him in his hotel room (with a sneak glimpse of his treasure trail) and travelling in the streets in a cab on his way to the gig.
