Damn It...

I'm so p*ssed off and upset right now! You see, I was supposed to tell you all about my exciting trip to the Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, and Melbourne. I was all packed and ready for the early flight at 7:30am until my phone rang. I picked it up and was told my 3 days/2 nights Kangaroo Island tour was cancelled due to a raging bush fire! I quickly turned on my internet to check if it's real or not, and to my dis- appointment, most of the Kangaroo Island had now been declared a danger zone, as a number of separate fires had joined up.

Although the first part of my South Australia trip is now ruined by the stupid fire but the airline was kind enough to change my flight to Adelaide to Monday morning. Then from Adelaide I will go to Melbourne and stay there for 4 nights before I fly back to Brisbane. So anyone can tell me what to see and do in Melbourne?

OK Things to do in Melbourne
Not sure what you are into but here goes
Your posted picture is a good place to start...along the river
first either Eureka Tower or the Rialto for a great birds eye view of the city and surrounds
Eating along the river at Southbank is great stretching from the Casino to Flinders street
Funky Fedeartion Square for the arts in the foreground of your picture is great
Shopping in Bourke Street mall...have a look at the famous Myers windows
Get a tram down to St Kilda for the alternative set reat eaterys and shops and the beach loooks pretty neat
Gay night life is spread around but try Commercial Road Prahran..nearby is Chapel Street..great for shopping and perving
If you want a day out maybe a tour up to the beautiful Dandeonong Ranges..great rainforest ferns etc
Hmmm we have so much to do here thats why we are the worlds most liveable city !!! hehe
Have fun and enjoy yourself
