DNA #97 hits the stands across Australia today, featuring cover model Skye Boyland (and yes, that's his real name) in a 16-page spread featuring photography by Aussie photographer Ross Brownsdon. The magazine also published 20 pages of behind-the-scenes clips HERE. Unfortunately, they only get hotter as they go on (clip #7 is my per- sonal favourite), so proceed at your own risk (of getting a massive hard on)!DNA: You're a natural bodybuilder. What does the 'natural' mean?
Boyland: It's done without the use of steroids or other performance enhancers. Instead, I rely on a combination of relentless hard work and good genetics.
Why did you start bodybuilding?
It was a bit of an evolution. I watched one of my mates compete in a competition and thought to myself, "Why aren't I up there?"
How long do you train for each day?
Roughly two to three hours. I split it over three sessions. I do a weights session in the morning, a cardio session and abs at lunch then hit another muscle group with a weights session in the evening. If my toes aren't cramping toward the end of the day then I haven't trained hard enough!
Toes?
[Laughs] It's not really healthy, but it basically means my potassium levels have depleted from sweating so much throughout the day so it's time to pop another multi-vitamin!
How comfortable were you stripping down for the camera?
Well, I was never totally naked so I was comfortable the whole time, although the jockstrap thing was new…
Are you happy for gay men to perve on you?
Sure, I guess so. I'll try not to think about it too much! Girls read this magazine too, right?
