Yesterday, me and my friends had a high tea at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. It was my first time to experience a traditional English afternoon tea and it was amazing!
Seriously, I had never felt so 'posh' for a very long time and as you can tell from the photos, I was absolutely stuffed up by the end of it!
Although it may sound a bit pricey compared to your usual afternoon tea (it costs £17.50 per head) it's definitely a good thing to experience if you have the chance!

Did you have to dress up? Is there a dress code?

I won a prize at work last year that included afternoon tea at the English Tea Room at Browns Hotel in Mayfair, and i have never had afternoon tea quite like it. Very civilized, consisted of Sandwiches, Pastries, Scones With Clotted Cream and jam, Cakes and a varity of Teas. It was amazing, not cheap mind you i was not paying. But i would go back and pay for it myself it was so good.
I come in UK on 19th of march... I will try this!
I love you blog!
