Some of you may remember my previous 'not-so-good' experience at the Brisbane Pride Festival. Well, guess what? A year later I'm attend- ing the Pride London this Saturday!Initially I was gonna leave the whole Pride 'thing' all behind me, but something back of my head kept niggling me, so here I am, can't believe I'm putting myself through it all again! But don't cha worry too much because this time, I've volunteered myself as a steward in the parade (yes, I've learnt my lesson). So, instead of walking around like a lost soul (like what I did in Brisbane), I'm actually doing 'something' for the Pride, which I'm very proud and looking forward to =]
To tell the truth, signing (brazing) myself up and attending the steward training session for the Pride has been another BREAKTHROUGH of my notion of gay experience, desire, and cultural. I just hope London won't disappoint me! So, will you be there?
