So I missed last night's Eurovision Song Contest because I went out to my friend's birthday party in London. However, I was really pleased to find that United Kingdom had come FIFTH in Moscow, our best result since 2002, all thanks to Jade Ewen's superb performance on Andrew Lloyd Webber's It's My Time.I really loved this song and actually thought this would be our time! Oh well, there's always next year to hope for. Anyway, congratulations to Alexander Rybak from Norway who was the lucky winner with his song Fairytale. Though it's not my favourite, he's kinda cute in a way.

Bravo Alexander Rybak, good genes run in his family.
plus he wrote composed and performed amazingly.
Considered the dark horse he surpassed all expectations
I look forward to purchasing his Album on June 2 release
I never watch Eurovision these days as it's way too camp (well it always has been). However the problem with the UK entry is that it was more of a musical number (obviously as it was written by ALW and Dianne Warren) and less of a pop/Eurovision song.
Bravo Alex..and thanks for the wink.
Dopey song but a delightful performance. Loved the acrobats in the background; it's not easy keeping time to music when you're doing leaps and tumbles.
So cute and wonderful with a big personality. So young 22 years old.He is such a heart broker
