OMG! I really had HEAPS of fun yesterday at Pride London 2009! In spite of an early start (yes, I woke up at 7:30 AM), there are perhaps two reasons why I enjoyed myself so much. The first was that I was allocated to do my stewarding duties on Oxford Street (near John Lewis the department store), one of the busiest section of the parade and it seemed like I had achieved a lot more compared to last year. I was VERY proud of myself!

The second was because I was actually hanging out with friends and meeting new interesting people throughout the day, which made such a big difference from when I walked around alone! Here I thank you all for making my day so brilliant, special and wonderful!

just wish i could enjoy such a thing in my country... oh well... c'est la vie.
SO BEAUTIFUL...
Love the pics, Pr8! London's a rockin' place. I'm in Texas, where it's still open season on fags (as proven by the raid on a gay bar in Fort Worth) so mot much going on -- outside Austin, that is. I used to live in LA and West Hollywood's Gay Pride was great. I miss the wantonness of it all.
What a great celebration! We're having our Pride in Atlanta in October to correspond with Halloween! Ugghhh ....... 40th anniversary and all ... queers are adaptable, so it shall be wonderful anyway.
Thanks for the pictures!looks like you had a great time! Lucky you!
Thanks for all the pictures Pr8. Much better than the ones I took. I was just round the corner at the junction of Oxford Street and Regent street. Sorry to have missed you. It was my first Pride and I really enjoyed it.
Best Wishes.
