A lovely (yet sad) short movie showing intolerance, which all gays have suffered over the centuries. It's a pity it showed an Islamic household as intolerance is everywhere in all religions.Religion, something supposed to bring love, peace, morality, and tolerance to the world, but instead, it's the cause of so much distress all over the world. How do we justify that?

thank you, for showing this
It happens because of wrong, warped interpretation of religious teachings (Bible, Kuran) and because of the insecurity of heterosexuals in their own sexuality who are in leadership positions of our religious institutions. But just as the Negro slaves won their freedom, so will we. I love my Christian faith and I look forward to the day when the correct way of looking at the Scriptures is embraced.. and it's happening already.
It's not the religion, it's the scum who use it to further their own hate and justify ramming their views down everyone else's throats. If you actually read the Bible, parts are depressingly sad and parts are just plain contradictory and parts of it are overwhelmingly beautiful. But no one should take it literally. Unfortunately, there are far too many who do because some nitwit in a pulpit told them to. Like they're lemmings. And that applies to any religion -- Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Krishna, you name it -- people use it to further hate in spite of everything that they are taught. It's diseased.
No... religion is just rules, rules and rules which hold the people chained in their beliefs, making them unable to accept differences.
Religion is a way of controlling people!
Religion or society, whatever the reason, it happens. I got kicked out of the house when I was 17 because I was gay. Now at 45, my (very religious) mother thinks the gay people are the ones who have their heads screwed on right! So people can change, it just takes time, patience and preserverence. Very sad flick, now I want to know what happened to the lad.
ce n'est pas gentil de montrer le coran sur cette page !
