I Am Shy But...

You look up from your book and become paralyzed with nervous anticipation as you see the hot guy you've been smitten with from afar sit down at the table across the room. He's alone today and what a great opportunity it would be to finally approach him and introduce yourself. But the anxiety is mounting as you visualize yourself doing this and you bury yourself back in your book.

If you are a shy guy (yes I am), and don't want to be, dating can be a frustrating and daunting experience. When you are out and about, it looks so easy for other guys to approach and cozy up to other men. Or if you do have advances made toward you, you just want to kick yourself when you freeze up and don't know what to say and feel like you've made a bad impression and scare him off.

This article may shed some light on the symptoms and psychology behind shyness and offer some suggestions for breaking free of its chains that hold you back from experiencing a satisfying social and dating life. So enjoy! And guess what? Apparently, I'm a good catch =]

Against All Odds...

I always thinks pictures do say a thousand words, and this one is a perfect example of that. LOVE IS THE BEST MEDICINE FOR FEAR, in this case, homophobia. I just wish I can reach that stage someday...

Few Bits & Bobs...

Whenever I see the brand Timoteo, the first image that comes to my mind is the sexy Benjamin Godfre showing off his sexy body in nothing but a pair of swimming briefs.

However, with their latest images from a photographer that pulled wardrobe from their studio, male model Justin Adamson can definitely divert my attention away from Benjamin for a while =P Oh, one more thing. THIS is what I've just found on Sean Cody. Please tell me that this guy is only Justin's twin brother (but actually not, I know it)!

The second 'Bits & Bobs' that I'm gonna share with you all is a first hand look to BOYS OF SUMMER editorial, from DNA's latest issue, with the couple Marcello and Enrico de Giuli. All thanks to YVY MAG =]

These sensational pictures were taken in Ibiza, Spain by the talented photographers Sandro & Maykson. And if you think they aren't hot enough, the sexy Marcello de Giuli was actually recently nominated for the category of Best Overall Escort at the 3rd International Escort Awards! You can show your support (not necessary to Marcello) by casting your vote HERE!

Finally, talking about DNA, how can I possibly not mention their new smooth and sultry cover boy Adam Phebus? Shot by Ronald N. Tan, the gorgeous 22-year-old model reveals why smooth is best for him and his partner in the March issue of the magazine! So, have you got your copy yet?

Guilty Pleasure...

Seriously, I see no reason why people can't feel sexy in their work clothes, even if they're just scrubs. And if you doubt men can look sexy in scrubs, let me give you a fine example. Coming to us from Falcon's upcoming Asylum is Ty Colt. This professional bodybuilder was modeling for a fitness magazine when a friend told him about the lucrative business (really?) of porn . And he really seems to be shooting streams left and right from the looks of it.

Now, is that a guy to die for or what? Oh my, I think I need a doctor because my heart keeps skipping a beat! Click HERE to download the full set of photos, just make sure you've taken your blood pressure tablet before you proceed =P

Would You Want Some...

Today is Shrove Tuesday (aka Pancake Day or Pancake Tuesday) in the U.K. because it's the one day of the year when almost everyone eats a pancake. Did I have any? No, I didn't =[ but the guy above is cooking one for me =P

Pancake Day is the last day before Lent, a time of abstinence, of giving things up. So TODAY is 'supposed' to be the last chance to indulge yourself, and to use up the foods that aren't allowed in Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were forbidden during Lent. So what am I gonna give up? Hmm, maybe giving up to look for a boyfriend?

I Hate Gays...

Now here's something very interesting - Gay men who don't want (hate is a too strong word) to be gay. Contradicting huh? Well, actually no. I've to say sometimes I feel the same way, but not as EXTREME as the first guy who is so messed up and determine to 'turn' straight when he reaches 30?! Personally, I always believe that we can't control or choose our sexuality. I mean, it's not something we become, it's something we are! Having said that, I do get frustrated of the whole gay stereotype and open relationship thing. Not to mention I'm still struggling to come out of the closet...

After watching the show, I think I would like to live my life as guy number two. He's out yet he doesn't fit the stereotype, but is willing to explore a different side of the wide gay world. Good on him and thanks for the great show Tyra! They should have this show in the UK!

Weekly Poll...

Some say a great tattoo is a statement, not a style. And getting it is a journey, not a destination. Hmm, what an interesting thought. Anyway, although I don't have any tattoo on my body yet, I've always been fascinated of how amazingly artistic, creative and detailed the tattooist can be with their work. To support my point, here I give you three beautiful tattoos on three beautiful men, tell me which one looks most appealing to you?

Mr. Irresponsible...

It's been a while since I've updated my quest of finding Mr. Right and I must admit that I'm still wondering round the 'Maze of Love' without knowing where I want to go. But I guess it's all part of the fun, right?

Anyway, I met up with this guy on Gaydar called Mr. Lonely (just a nickname) last night. We had a good drink and chat session in a local gay pub before he came over to my place and spent the night with me, which I'm not going into details here =P

I did enjoy the company of Mr. Lonely, he's confident, multi-talented, kinda cute, very talkative, and quite different to the gays I used to be with, although I doubt there'll be any romance between me and him. Amongst the many interesting things we talked about was how many gays would totally blank you out of their life after the first or second meets, just when you think things are heating up. They'll not speak to you, they'll not acknowledge your existence, and at the same time, leaving you in the no man's land questioning yourself what was the f*cking problem? Was it you? Was it him? Did you make a mistake? Did you or he do something wrong? Seriously, it can drive you insane and I don't have the time for this!

Basically, what we concluded was that everyone (not just the gays) should learn to be more responsible for their actions/words. I mean, if you don't have the same feeling towards someone, then instead of leaving him in agony, at least let that person know that you aren't interested! It's better to be rejected (yes, it may hurt) than to be left hanging. So Dan, if you read this, please say something okay?

Feel Good...

I love watching music videos because sometimes it's like reading a story, it gives me an idea of what the song is about. A good video can make me like a song I wasn't that keen on when I heard it on the radio, a really bad one can put me off a song I thought I liked. Anyway, I've recently found two great gay music videos which I wanna share with you all! While both videos are extremely sexy, one is more romantic and the other is more erotic. Enjoy!

The first video I wanna introduce is End Of The World by Matt Alber and there's absolutely no denying that it's one of the most romantic videos I've seen in years.

Both the video and the song have given me such a beautiful range of emotions. It speaks of love lost, love renewed, and love forever. Truly amazing! Genius work Matt!

The second video I wanna introduce is Just Another Summer by Yehonathan Gatro, an upcoming gay pop singer from Israel.

I've never heard of the singer, and the song seems like your typical dance music fare, but it caught my interest because watching the video (especially towards the end) is like watching a softcore porn, plus the hunky Israeli men (playing volleyball and making out) are simply too 'hard' to resist =P

Guilty Pleasure...

To me, their profession might not be the sexiest, however, I do agree some doctors are critically hot. Take this example, Dr. Christian Jessen is a general practitioner (i.e. doctor) turned celebrity graduated in 2000 from UCL, having trained in general medicine, infectious disease, travel medicine and sexual health/HIV.

Other than his success as a presenter on Channel 4's Embarrassing Illnesses. He also writes regular health columns for Gay Times, QX , AXM , Arena, FHM and Men's Health. Now working as a doctor in Harley Street, the street of private medical excellence, Christian has previously researched malaria and HIV in Kenya and Uganda, and helped set up a private sexual health and travel clinic in London.

The 31-year-old was born and brought up in London and lives there still. He enjoys foreign travel, and music and art are both passions of his. He is an accomplished oboist, performing publicly from time to time. He rides horses, works out (check those pecs and abs out) and has even taken on the odd modeling job for various clothes and underwear companies.

Seriously, how often do you see a doctor this hot? Whether you agree or not, it seems to me that Dr. Jessen is quite a package, the brain, the money, the looks, the body, and definitely the sex appeal! I just wonder does he ever need a pharmacist to sort out his prescriptions?

Get Ready To...

Just came home from watching Disney's latest animation BOLT, which has recently been been nominated (together with WALL-E) in the Oscar's Best Animated Film Category. And as Rhino the hamster (in the ball) says, "It's fully AWWWESOME!"

Great storyline, beautiful animation, and what a fun ride?! I absolutely enjoyed it! Well done Disney! Seriously, if you want a feel good movie with friends, family or someone special, this is one dog you can't miss!
