Here I Come...

Yes, I know it's a bit of short notice, but since I can't go to Australia, I'm heading off the Japan instead! Therefore, I'm afraid there won't be many updates for the next two and a half weeks or so. But don't worry, I'll be back on June 14 and tell you guys all about my trip!

Until then, you can start the countdown for my return using this little, yet amazing calendar. Just make sure you don't cheat and click ONE DAY at a time! Sayonara!

Guilty Pleasure...

Hot Brazilian model Edilson Nascimento is naked (again) in his ad campaign for Chokerz 4 Men and is sure to cause a few erections. The pictures depict an oily and completely naked Edilson laying in bed with only a choker on.

It's too bad we only see the back side of him. I mean, I really wanna see what he's packing in the front. Anyways, enjoy the pictures, but what exactly are they selling again?

Weekly Poll...

Feels Like Home by Meck feat. Dino Lenny

Must Jesus bear the cross alone, and all the world go free? No, there's a cross for everyone, and there's a cross for me. HOLD ON! Before you think I'm getting all religious on you, let's just take some time out and tell me which one of these three crosses will give you the strength to walk in the Spirit so you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Err, pretty tough huh? I think I need more 'strength' than just a cross

My Precious...

Hey guys! Welcome to another Academy Awards of TMOP! A ceremony to pay tribute to the blogs that I love and inspire me. So here's how it goes. I will personally (well, electronicly) interview all of my Precious Blogs by firing them five simple questions, then I'll wait and see how many they can throw back at me. In this way, not only I can say my BIG THANK YOU to them for their hard work, but at the same time you'll have the chance to get to know them and discover why are they so precious to me!

And now, Boys and Gentlemen (sorry, no Ladies and Girls), let me present you the Honorary 'S' list of the Precious Blogs of TMOP.

Gay Or Not Gay...

Okay, this is a tough one. Can someone tell me, is he gay or not gay? To me, he looks pretty straight. I guess the tonguing action towards the end of the video sorta give it away.

Let's Meet...

First of all, congratulations to be the 100th Follower of The Ministry of Pleasure. How do you feel about this?
It feels great to be the 100th follower of TMOP. I've been reading your blog on my RSS reader for months, but I jumped over when you wrote about being the 100th follower. Lucky me that I was number 100. It must feel great to have that many followers of your blog! Congrats!

Thanks for your kind words, and I would like to know what makes you to follow me? I mean, the blog, not me personally!
I love the blog, it's full of sexy men and interesting stories and polls. You keep a very nice mix of hotness, pop culture and important social and civil rights issues.

Actually, would you follow me personally? LOL!
Sure, I'll personally follow you =] Might be hard with an ocean between us though.

Anyway, I notice you also own two lovely blogs, Nyc.Dncr.Boy (the nice one) and Naked In The City (the naughty one), which you love to show off bits of flesh here and there. What's the idea/reason behind that?
As you said, I do write two blogs. Nyc.Dncr.Boy is the nice one, as you put it. I try to keep that one pretty much clean with the same mix of hot men, a little skin, personal victories and blunders, as well as my views on society and civil rights. Naked In The City began as an experiment to see if I could facilitate a blog using content from readers as the basis. I wanted to use reader content to look into the lives of nudists from around the world. It hasn't worked out completely like that, but I do have a lot of reader submissions of pictures and stories of naked time. I also use it as an outlet for my 'exhibitionistic' streak.

Is there anything you wanna say to my (or your) readers?
To all TMOP readers, keep coming to support TMOP! And, if you want to add a blog or two to your daily or weekly reading, come on over and check out my blogs as well!

And last but not least, Madonna. Yay or nay?
On the Madonna issue, I swing both ways. I love a lot of her early music and I admire her free spirit. A lot of the new music, I could take or leave. But, on the whole, I enjoy her and respect her contribution to the music industry.

Would You...

So who's gonna be my 100th Follower? If you are the lucky one, you'll be interviewed by the one and only PR8 and your exclusive interview will be featured on here. Do you wanna be known to the rest of the TMOP readers? Do you wanna show the world how much you love TMOP? If yes is your answer, then FOLLOW ME at the right time!

Weekly Poll...

We've talked about gays act like straight isn't a cool thing to do, but why some straight guys love to act gay? Either they are making fun of us (which isn't very nice) or they are drunk, OR there's an even bigger possibility that their repressed inner gayness is coming out! Either way, they are always welcome as long as they play nice and have a good time with each other!

Now, I have THREE gorgeous pairs of 'straight' boys here, which pair show the most inner gayness that makes you wanna play with? Don't be shy, 'cus they are not =P

May 17...

Apparently it's International Day Against Homophobia today, and the theme for this year is Homosexuality Knows No Borders, which says homosexuality is a universal fact, it exists in every country and can't be restricted by borders.

Sounds ideal, doesn't it? But the reality is that not all of the world's gay men and lesbians are able to enjoy the privilege of living in an egalitarian society. In many countries, loving a member of the same sex and having sexual relations with that person are against the law.

Meanwhile, in many countries like ours, sexual orientation is recognised as being a basic freedom just as is the right to freedom of religion and belief. But does it make our lives easier? Of course yes, but it'll NEVER be the same as our straight counterparts.

Call me negative, but I do feel very depressed about the social state of our broken world. Everything 'different' must be opposed and/or destroyed. Why can't we open our minds to the needs of our brothers and sisters? If the straights can't turn gay, then I can't turn straight!

The sad truth is, no matter how much we 'educate' the world, homophobia WILL always be there. It's a fact of life, just as HIV+ stigma within our own gay community. Having said that, if we were all living in Never-Never Land with rainbows and flowers, it would become a very boring life for everyone. Life is interesting because it's tough. You have good moments, bad moments and the in-between.

And last but not least, in order to make this whole anti-homophobia thing work, we must start from ourselves! Stop discriminate against other people (even ones who discriminate against you) and hopefully love will find its way from one person to another. Remember, when they show hate, show love back =]

Bravo...

So I missed last night's Eurovision Song Contest because I went out to my friend's birthday party in London. However, I was really pleased to find that United Kingdom had come FIFTH in Moscow, our best result since 2002, all thanks to Jade Ewen's superb performance on Andrew Lloyd Webber's It's My Time.

I really loved this song and actually thought this would be our time! Oh well, there's always next year to hope for. Anyway, congratulations to Alexander Rybak from Norway who was the lucky winner with his song Fairytale. Though it's not my favourite, he's kinda cute in a way.
