What A Wonderful Day...

Well, before you carry on, I must warn you that this post is by far the LONGEST post in TMOP because it's all about what happened yesterday at Pride London! And as you can tell from my photos, I had a BLAST!

Blessed with the best weather you could ever get, I had enjoyed every single minute from preparing for the parade at 10am, to starting of the parade at 1pm, to meeting up with friends at 4pm, to partying at G-A-Y Heaven at 11pm, and to sitting in the night bus at 3am this morning.

Of course, the highlight of the day was volunteering for Pride, and this year I had an amazing team to work with. Besides, I personally think the atmosphere from the crowd was way better than previous years. In fact, I would actually say I love everyone on the street yesterday!

And for some strange reason, this year was actually the first year that I truly felt the spirit of Pride and be so proud to be part of it. I WAS REALLY HAPPY! I don't know how to put it in words but I think having caring friends who accept you and being who I am has helped a lot! So thank you everyone and including YOU who is reading this right now! Next Pride? Brighton here I come!

Aww really wish I could have gone, seems like such an amazing day! Loved all your pics :)

Fortunately I will be going to Brighton pride which will hopefully have better weather than last year, and then onto see some friends in Swindon the week after for Swindon Pride.

I do LOVE being gay, it's just too fabulous! :D

I am really happy that you had such a great and positive time at London Pride.
We didn't get a lot of coverage of it here is Australia, least not that I saw, but with our new PM and her seemingly strict anti-gay policies that's probably no surprise.
Keep on keeping on, you bring a lot of happiness to a lot of people which makes you one special guy.

It looks like a great time! Our Pride in Toronto ended up being this weekend as well because of the G20 Summit. It was bloody hot out but it just meant that everyone had to strip down! Happy Pride to you! said...

Madness, joy, beauty, honor, pride ... fantastic that your Pride! Nothing to do with the Italian ... crushed by an ecclesiastical authority, hypocritical, where no one speaks of pedophile priests or politicians of the right, drug and prostitution transsexual regular customers ... and think that Oscar Wilde advised his beloved to come to Italy to live more peacefully and avoid homophobia English ... God save England!

When I went to the Parade about four years ago, the Marines were more than happy to reveal the secrets hidden in very very very tiny briefs -- such a pleasant sight???
