Wonderful Life...

HURTS duo Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson from Manchester, UK travelled to Italy together before forming, and developed a disco-lento (slow disco) sound and European aesthetic both inspired by their trip.

The new single Wonderful Life inhabits the moody and cinematic (with a dash of Gaga) approach their music takes, capturing the story of a girl who saves a man from suicide with that emphatic line "Don't let go, never give up it's such a wonderful life."

If this single is anything to go by, HURTS are going to get a lot of attention this year (at least they got mine) and I for one look forward to hearing their debut album Happiness, which will be released on September 6th.
