I woke up and found my friend was having a shower, so I went in the bathroom and talked to him a bit before he gave me the finger with a cheeky grin on his face (and I have a photo to prove it). SO what exactly have I said wrong (or right) to deserve a 'middle salute' first thing in the morning?

A Morning Salute...
I woke up and found my friend was having a shower, so I went in the bathroom and talked to him a bit before he gave me the finger with a cheeky grin on his face (and I have a photo to prove it). SO what exactly have I said wrong (or right) to deserve a 'middle salute' first thing in the morning?
