Curse Of Open Relationship...

I used be a monogamous believer and believed that one day I'll meet my special 'one' to share the bed and spend my whole life with. Well, living in London has definitely changed me. After hearing stories from friends who are still in their long-term open relationship, it sounds to me the whole 'monogamous' thing is more like a fairytale than reality.

I'm no angel and I'm saying this beacuse I've met some of these guys before. I do feel bad because I'm kinda encouraging an open relationship to happen, but at the same time, I don't feel too guilty about it because they ARE in an open relationship, which sometimes can be a good thing!

Hmm, I guess there's no right or wrong to this matter as long as both partners are comfortable with it and play responsibly. Having said that, if the Curse of Open Relationship falls between me and my future partner, I think I might eventually accept it, but until then, I'll try my very best to avoid or delay such curse to take its toll. Thoughts?

Guilty Pleasure...

My favourite FantasticsMag had recently featured New York based hunky model/artist/filmmaker Joe Kavitski in nothing but a pair of Baskit and some body paint. Enjoy!

To Realize...

To realize the value of ten years:
Ask a newly divorced couple.

To realize the value of four years:
Ask a graduate.

To realize the value of one year:
Ask a student who has failed a final exam.

To realize the value of nine months:
Ask a mother who gave birth to a still born.

To realize the value of one month:
Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week:
Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one hour:
Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one minute:
Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.

To realize the value of one-second:
Ask a person who has survived an accident.

To realize the value of one millisecond:
Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics.

Time waits for no one.

Spend it with someone you care. You'll treasure it even more.

P.S. I watched Cabaret (1972) on TV for the first time last night. What a classic! And am I the only one who is having a big crush on young Michael York as the cute English Brian Roberts?

Gay Old Paddy...

Can St. Patrick possibly be a gay role model? Well, interesting enough, a book on Irish gay history, Terrible Queer Creatures by Brian Lacey, presents some evidence the Saint himself may have had a long term intimate relationship with a man! Read on...

Oh well, here's some old gay history for you on St. Patrick's Day =]

Every Little Helps...

As you know, the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that stuck Japan has been unfolded on the TV and frontpage of the newspapers worldwide, and I just cannot stress enough how urgent this is. PLEASE donate to ANY charity that helps support disaster relief efforts in Japan. For those in the UK, PLEASE make your donation to the British Red Cross. Thank you!

Present 4 Everyone...

I know today is my birthday and I should be the one receiving present, but to thank you for supporting me for another year, I think you guys deserve a present from me too! Love the top. Love the bottom. Love the whole freakin' thing!

P.S. Doesn't the top look a bit like Patrick O'Brien?

Anothre Year Wiser...

Yes, it's your host's 32nd birthday so I wanna hear you SCREAM! How will I celebrate it? Well, as it falls on Monday, I don't have much choice but to go to work during the day and attend my design course in the evening. Having said that, I've already celebrated my birthday over the weekend by seeing two shows, The Mikado at ENO and Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo at NWT, and dancing mentally till 3am at G-A-Y Heaven.

So what's my birthday wish this year? Well, whilst I have a birthday wishlist (please ask for details), there are three things that I always wish for every year. Actually, they are pretty simple but money can't buy - love, happiness and peace in mind. Happy birthday to me!

Waves Of Death...

As all of you may know, the people of Japan have suffered from a terrible terrible disaster and it's going to take a lot resources to rebuild from it, but the lives lost can never be replaced. Here I would like to send my deepest sympathy to those who are affected by the quake and tsunami =[

Guilty Pleasure...

PR8: First of all, thank you for doing this interview with me. So Mister Garofali, did you sleep well last night? And what did you have for breakfast today?
Daniel: No worries at all. Thanks for having me. I didn't sleep too well last night. I works until about 2am so I didn't get to bed until 4:30am. I have the worst sleeping patterns. For breakfast I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast.

For those who doesn't know about you, can you summerise yourself in FIVE words?
Male Model/Dancer from Australia.

Tell us, how did you first get into the whole modelling thing? I mean, I can see why, but what made you wanna do it?
I was working as a professional dancer and a friend of a friend, who was working at a modelling agency in Sydney said to me that I should get into modelling. The next week I was the face of a new Australian swimwear label, with posters on one of the main streets of Sydney and was blogged on fashion and modelling websites all around the world. It really went viral. My modelling career really took off after that. I wanted to do it because I really enjoy the creative process of the shoot. The styling, the hair, the poses, the props, the location... the possibilities are endless and it is fun to explore those!

Modelling highlight?
One of the best moments so far was getting to shoot with Gregory Vaughan on roof in New York City dressed in the most amazing Jeremy Scott for Adidas gear. The shots are amazing.

Ever had an embarrassing moment during a photo shoot?
The most embarassing moment was when I was shooting for aussieBum and I have to model an underwear called catch of the day which is just made of netting. I am posing away basically naked as it doesnt leave much to the imagination and in burst a film crew from one of the top tv stations with their famous entertainment reporter.

Actually I'm also doing an interview with photographer Kevin McDermott, what do you think of him and his works?
Kevin McDermott is an amazing photographer who I was lucky enough to work with when I was in New York. Not only is he talented but a extremely genuine guy. I am back in New York in May so we will definitely be shooting together again.

Besides modelling, what do you do for a living? Do you still work as a dancer?
I model and sance professionally for a living. I try to juggle the two careers but the modelling career is definitely taking over. I have had amazing opportunities as a dancer though, I travelled the world and got to dance with Kylie Minogue.

Are you single or already taken by someone special?
I am recently broke up with my girlfriend.

You have an amazing body. How do you keep in such good shape? And which part of your body do you think is the sexiest?
Thanks. As a dancer we are constantly performing cardio. I have had days where I was dancing for up to 20 hours, going from gig to gig. I also go to the gym to lift weights. I think my chest is "the sexiest", I almost need a bra. Hah =P

Complete the sentence, "My turn on button is..."?
"My turn on button is Miranda Kerr."

As an Aussie, what are you most proud of?
Most proud of our reputation around the world. When you go overseas, we are treated very well because we have a reputation of being genuine, hard-working and easy going people.

Harbour Bridge, Opera House or Bondi Beach?
Bondi Beach for sure. I love the sun and the ocean!

Kangaroo, platypus or koala?
Koala. They are pretty cute!

What's next for Daniel?
I just book some photoshoots in Europe so i heading there in April and then onto the USA in May. I hope to get my US Visa so i can move to New York.

And last but not least. Kylie. Yay or nay?
Yay! Kylie is great. I was lucky enough to not only work with her but also lift her around the stage.

You've Been Warned...

Guess what? I've recently interviewed the mega hot Daniel Garofali so you better stay in tune tomorrow! Oh, and he's nice enough to send me an instant photo of him (at the backstage of somewhere) through his BlackBerry! Anyway, time to work!

Oh Dear...

Being a pharmacist for nine years, I haven't heard of such bizarre, yet very interesting scenario! According to PinkNews, a French man is suing pharmaceuticals giant Glaxo because he claims that a drug used to treat his Parkinson's disease turned him into a gay sex addict!

Didier Jambart, a married father from Nantes, began taking Requip (Ropinirole) in 2003 but says his behaviour changed dramatically as a result. His lawyers say he became addicted to gay sex and indulged in risky behavior which led to him being raped. He is also said to have started cross-dressing, exposing himself on the internet and gambling.

Mr. Jambart says his behaviour led to him losing the family's savings and attempting suicide three times. He stopped taking the drug in 2005 and his behaviour returned to normal. However, he says that his addictions caused him psychological trauma and he was demoted at work. He is seeking damages from Glaxo and from his neurologist, who he says did not warn him about the drug's side effects.

Hmm, as far as I know, all anti-Parkinson agents have the potential to cause psychosis and/or obsessive-compulsive behaviours, although it's kinda rare. Having said that, why does Mr. Jambart only interested in gay sex? Could it be possible that he is using side-effect as an excuse to hide his sexuality?

Sleepy Beauty...

This photo has just made my day! Awww, don't you think it's better for him to sleep a little longer (so we can have some quality time with him) rather than waking him up? Unless you have a better idea =P

Guilty Pleasure...

I'm not a huge fan of tattoo. Having said that, if the work is well placed and well done, then they can look absolutely sexy! So what's my reaction when I first saw Nolan, the latest installment of Sean Cody?

Well, he's clean cut, he's got a really sexy body (that hair ass of his is to die for) and he's got a very handsome face with some clear blue eyes. And I haven't even mentioned his cock yet! But seriously, what was he thinking when he was in the tattoo parlor? The Good, the Bad and the Ugly or Wild Wild West?
