Guilty Pleasure...

PR8: First of all, thank you for doing this interview with me. So Mister Garofali, did you sleep well last night? And what did you have for breakfast today?
Daniel: No worries at all. Thanks for having me. I didn't sleep too well last night. I works until about 2am so I didn't get to bed until 4:30am. I have the worst sleeping patterns. For breakfast I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast.

For those who doesn't know about you, can you summerise yourself in FIVE words?
Male Model/Dancer from Australia.

Tell us, how did you first get into the whole modelling thing? I mean, I can see why, but what made you wanna do it?
I was working as a professional dancer and a friend of a friend, who was working at a modelling agency in Sydney said to me that I should get into modelling. The next week I was the face of a new Australian swimwear label, with posters on one of the main streets of Sydney and was blogged on fashion and modelling websites all around the world. It really went viral. My modelling career really took off after that. I wanted to do it because I really enjoy the creative process of the shoot. The styling, the hair, the poses, the props, the location... the possibilities are endless and it is fun to explore those!

Modelling highlight?
One of the best moments so far was getting to shoot with Gregory Vaughan on roof in New York City dressed in the most amazing Jeremy Scott for Adidas gear. The shots are amazing.

Ever had an embarrassing moment during a photo shoot?
The most embarassing moment was when I was shooting for aussieBum and I have to model an underwear called catch of the day which is just made of netting. I am posing away basically naked as it doesnt leave much to the imagination and in burst a film crew from one of the top tv stations with their famous entertainment reporter.

Actually I'm also doing an interview with photographer Kevin McDermott, what do you think of him and his works?
Kevin McDermott is an amazing photographer who I was lucky enough to work with when I was in New York. Not only is he talented but a extremely genuine guy. I am back in New York in May so we will definitely be shooting together again.

Besides modelling, what do you do for a living? Do you still work as a dancer?
I model and sance professionally for a living. I try to juggle the two careers but the modelling career is definitely taking over. I have had amazing opportunities as a dancer though, I travelled the world and got to dance with Kylie Minogue.

Are you single or already taken by someone special?
I am recently broke up with my girlfriend.

You have an amazing body. How do you keep in such good shape? And which part of your body do you think is the sexiest?
Thanks. As a dancer we are constantly performing cardio. I have had days where I was dancing for up to 20 hours, going from gig to gig. I also go to the gym to lift weights. I think my chest is "the sexiest", I almost need a bra. Hah =P

Complete the sentence, "My turn on button is..."?
"My turn on button is Miranda Kerr."

As an Aussie, what are you most proud of?
Most proud of our reputation around the world. When you go overseas, we are treated very well because we have a reputation of being genuine, hard-working and easy going people.

Harbour Bridge, Opera House or Bondi Beach?
Bondi Beach for sure. I love the sun and the ocean!

Kangaroo, platypus or koala?
Koala. They are pretty cute!

What's next for Daniel?
I just book some photoshoots in Europe so i heading there in April and then onto the USA in May. I hope to get my US Visa so i can move to New York.

And last but not least. Kylie. Yay or nay?
Yay! Kylie is great. I was lucky enough to not only work with her but also lift her around the stage.
