Maggie The True Blue...

Margaret Thatcher, UK's longest serving Prime Minister over the last century, has died of a stroke at age 87 yesterday morning.

The British leader, who drove efforts to privatise the country's economy during her tenure from 1979-1990, was a controversial figure both during and after her years at 10 Downing Street. Supporters say that she helped to end the Cold War, slowed the country's inflation, and revived the public's spirit by projecting confidence and optimism. But critics note that Thatcher's policies did little to combat unemployment, and that she contributed to racial tensions by characterising immigrants as a threat.

Whether you like the Iron Lady or not, it can't be denied that she's a strong female that inspires others. I may never agree with any political view points she had, but I admire her strength. RIP Margaret x

Got an e-mail about the article of her that I posted on my blog today and I could tell they weren't pleased. I understand folks dis/like of her, but @ the end of the end hate takes SO much energy and I rather let her go while she is gone.
