Reflect...

Well, it's December 31 and I'm getting ready to sum up another 365 days AGAIN. To be honest, I don’t remember too much of the year that is about to end, but then again I don't remember much of yesterday either. Just kidding. Anyway, 2013 was the year that...

I BECAME A LAZY BLOGGER
Yes, TMOP had hit a record low with the least number of posts since I started in 2006 and I can't blame anyone but myself! Honestly, I do struggle to find time to blog about 'things' that I really passionate about while I have a full-time job to work around, a mortgage to pay, a Peter Pan to shag, a bunch of friends to entertain etc. So, please forgive me and I promise I'll try harder in 2014!

I WAS A CASTRO B*TCH
Yes, I had the chance of my lifetime to visit the West Coast of North America, all thanks to my cousin who tied the knot at the end of July. Vancouver was scenic and relaxing but I was there because of the wedding. Las Vegas was just outrageously over the top, eye opening and 3 days was all that I needed. But San Francisco, you stole my heart! I'm falling completely in love with the city - the old fashioned trams, the creative street arts, the ever-buzzing Fishman's Wharf, the tranquilizing Muir Woods National Park, the gloomy Alcatraz Island, and the FABULOUS rainbow coloured Castro, my highlight of 2013 =]

I QUITTED AND RESTARTED
Yes, I quitted my 4-year permanent hospital job back in the beginning of July, took a career break for 3 months, and restarted working as a self-employed pharmacist since October. Some people think I was mad to do this, but what the hell, you only live once, and there are jobs around as long as I'm willing to work hard!

I AND PETER PAN REUNITED
Yes, I know some of you may be sick and tired (or filled with joy and excitement) of hearing the roller coaster ride between Peter Pan and I. All the breaking up, then getting together, then breaking up again, then getting together again; it's like a never ending story! Honestly, I don't want the story to end. I just don't have the words to say exactly what I think, other than I really enjoy the chapters we've had so far (and yet to come).

I BECAME BRITISH-ISH
Yes, after living in the UK for the past 20 years, I had recently passed the final hurdle of the ever changing immigration rules and nationalized myself as a British citizen after making an oath to Her Majesty the Queen and Her successors to be a good boy, a really good boy and nothing but a good boy =]

Attitude's 12 Boys...

It's the last Sunday of 2013 and Attitude is sharing some of the classic moving covers from their iPAD editions.

Every day from December 25 to January 5, the UKs leading gay magazine is uploading a sexy clip to YouTube. So far McFly's Harry Judd, rugby stud Ben Foden, West Ham United footballer Matt Jarvis, former X Factor winner Shayne Ward and ex-TOWIE hunk Mark Wright have strutted their shirtless selves for our viewing pleasure. I can't wait for the rest to follow!

Guilty Pleasure...

It's amazing how many hot guys you can stumble across on Tumblr these days and here's one of the thousands of them.

There's not much info about this cutie other than his name is Ian Jacob. And according to his Tumblr, he's a model, actor, artist, writer and thinker. He also loves travel, nature, and beards, and he's an open book so feel free to ask away for good advice or casual conversation.

Awww... Isn't he adorable or what? For more Ian's cute pics, follow his instagram http://instagram.com/iamianjacob#

Get Cut After X'mas...

So did everyone have a happy Christmas? I certainly did. It's nothing spectacular, just had lots of food and wine, and watched many movies on the sofa with friends, but I'm guessing that many of you would do the same thing - Eating, drinking, watching TV and sleeping.

Feeling guilty about not going to the gym? Well, Don't be because Craig Ramsay (as a former ballet dancer, hockey player, fitness model, actor and trained contortionist) is here to show you how to burn some serious calories when you are back in the office tomorrow! And the best thing is, each routine takes only FIVE minutes to complete so you won't even notice you are exercising. How cool is that?!

Now, if you enjoyed Ramsay's 5-minute office workouts, why not try other routines at the poolside, in the hair salon, while pumping gas, at the checkout or in the holy church? LOL!

Red Hot 4 Red Head...

Last Friday afternoon I went to see RED HOT, fashion photographer Thomas Knights' eagerly awaited exhibition celebrating the beauty of redheaded men, at The Gallery in Redchurch Street.

Honestly, I've NEVER understood Western stigmas against red hair, but I really LOVE the idea behind the exhibition - replete with portraits of gloriously handsome gingers to 're-brand' male redheads by showing a range of blazing ginger masculinity (or should I say homo-eroticity) and intense pride in the genetics that produce it.

A Love/Hate Relationship...

Christmas has arrived in London because you can tell by the giant erected Norwegian Christmas tree is in Trafalgar Square, the red-nosed reindeer in Covent Garden, the very jolly robins that bab along Carnaby Street (photo above) and the amount of lights that decorate the capital!

I know Christmas should be the happiest time of the year, but I do have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the day.

I love the decorations. I mean, who doesn't like pretty sparkling things? I like that people are supposed to be thinking of others, and I also like the fact that I get time off from work.

I hate that you are 'suppose' to be surrounded by family and/or friends having a TV-commercial happy endulgent day. Some of us CAN'T be with family (mine's in Hong Kong and Peter Pan will be back to his parents) and it's so enforced in everyone that you should that people who are alone feel like something is wrong with them.

So, what do and don't your like about Christmas?

Paradise On Earth...

Norway has served as the birth place of many great musicians, but no two have ever been quite as odd as brothers Bård Ylvisåker and Vegard Ylvisåker, otherwise known as Ylvis. Their unique brand of comedy blends classic and modern styles of storytelling, as well as the occasional musical number, and today I'm proud to present a music video called Massachusetts.

The song serves as an anthemic ode to the hub of New England, with references to Catholicism, the Boston Public Library, Haverhill, Cape Cod, and a dozen or so things in between. It's built as if it were a song of celebration, but as you can imagine things become increasingly weird both lyrically and visually as the song plays on that is sure to leave you in tears (from laughing, of course)!

Other hilarious songs by Ylvis, which you can't afford to miss include Stonehenge, The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) and The Cabin. Enjoy!

Blow Off My Mind...

Today turned out to be a rather nice winter Sunday in London. I love doing something a bit cultural so my friend and I went to Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore exhibition at Somerset House and it's simply stunning!

For those of you who haven't heard of Blow, here is how Vogue sums up her life: "Born Isabella Delves Broughton in 1958, she was a fashion editor, consultant, muse and nurturer of young fashion talent in her lifetime. Blow was renowned and admired for her extrovert dress sense, red lipstick and a hat. To many, Blow embodied English eccentricity. She was also renowned for her unique ability to spot and nurture design talent; she discovered many of the British fashion industry's leading figures such as Phillip Treacy and Alexander McQueen. Blow famously bought McQueen's entire graduate collection for £5,000, and began supporting him and his talent in any way she could. Blow had suffered from depression all her life and in the years leading up to her death in 2007 she attempted suicide numerous times. After drinking weedkiller Blow died in hospital on May 7 2007."

Not only was the exhibition beautiful but also contained just the right balance between learning about Blow's (eccentric yet sad) life and her sense of fashion. Honestly, there were some extraordinary pieces in the exhibition and it really made me think that I should experiment with my own style a bit more!

Be Inspired...

Mandela was once asked how he'd like to be remembered after his death. His response was, "When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. I believe that I have made that effort and that is, therefore, why I will sleep for the eternity."

Regardless of what your opinion of the man is, there can be no denying that he certainly did his duty for his country as he saw it and went above and beyond what many would have done. If anyone deserves a peaceful slumber, Mandela does.

Guilty Pleasure...

The shower door slide open and there he stood, bare naked, with water still dripping off him. I tried to explain myself, but I was speechless and couldn't take my eyes off of his long dick, it had to have been at least 8 inches flaccid, and thick too. What should I do next? You decide!

Splash OUT...

YES OMG! Tom Daley, the 19-year-old diving star who won bronze for Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics, revealed in an emotional YouTube video today saying, "I still fancy girls, but right now I'm dating a guy and I couldn't be happier. I feel safe and it really does feel right."

Hmm, I've always known that this day would come, just not when. But I'm glad it did and I'm so so happy and PROUD for him!

Honestly, it takes a hell lot of courage to come out to friends and family! And to come out to this very judgmental world under the limelight is even harder! So best of wishes to you and your other 'guy' half! Good on you Tom x

Fast & Furious...

It's such a shock when I heard this sad tragic car accident on the news this morning. What really made him famous in the world; the same took him from the world. RIP Paul and my condolences to his friends, family, and mostly to his 14-year-old daughter.

Ribbon Up...

Today, the World AIDS Day, is a high-profile, global event with millions around the world holding events, awareness raising or simply wearing a red ribbon in support of people living with HIV. I certainly have! You?
