Merry X'mas 2 U All...

It's Christmas time and I'd like to thank you all for following me and being here always for me for better or for worse. It really means a lot to me! I LOVE YOU ALL and I'm thankful to have you as my followers! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas In the Bleak Midwinter

A Hunky Holidays...

The last final stretch heading into Christmas can be a stressful time. Dealing with the crowds, last minute shopping and juggling an overbooked social schedule, can easily lead to a mini meltdown. Save your sanity by taking a quick timeout to check out this sexy distraction.

Hunkappella LA (how adorable is that name?) get into the holiday spirit by singing some of your favorite seasonal classics. Not only are they pleasing to your ears, the quintet also serve a tasty treat to your other senses, specifically your eyes. They appear shirtless in several of their Yuletide getups. Watch the cute mashup clip below.

I'm curious how many guys sleep naked, with pajamas or wearing something else (just underwear, t-shirts, etc). For me, a pair of briefs and a t-shirt most of the time but if it's cold, maybe some pajama bottoms. I only like to sleep naked when I have the warm body of someone next to me and I miss it a BIG time =[

Pray For The World...

It's not Paris we should pray for. It's the WORLD. It's a world in which Beirut, reeling from bombings two days before Paris, is not covered in the press. A world in which a bomb goes off at a funeral in Baghdad and not one person's status update says, 'Baghdad', because not one white person died in that fire.

Pray for the world that blames a refugee crisis for a terrorist attack. That doesn't pause to differentiate between the attacker and the person running from the very same thing you are. Pray for a world where people walking across countries for months, their only belongings upon their backs, are told they have no place to go.

Say a prayer for Paris by all means, but pray more, for the world that doesn't have a prayer for those who no longer have a home to defend. For a world that is falling apart in all corners, and not simply in the towers and cafes we find so familiar.

Trick Or Treat...

Sorry for lack of the lack of updates for the past two weeks because Peter Pan and I had finally called it a quit. He found a new boyfriend after our long weekend away at the end of August.

In a way, I felt being 'tricked' that he might have been seeing people all this time while we were together, but at the same time, it's kinda of a 'treat' for me to know that there's NOTHING left between us. He had decided to move on to someone new and so do I with my life.

So how am I doing? It's been tough (we had not spoken since he broke the news to me) but I'm healing slowly. There are times I still wonder who's he dating, who's he cuddling watching TV on the sofa, who's he sleeping next to, what can he give PP that I can't give, but I have to block them all out and think a bit more of myself!

Absolutely Appalling...

Last week, I watched a documentary on Channel 4 called Unreported World, which revealed that electroshock therapy and other treatments to 'cure' homosexuality are still being offered in some Chinese hospitals although such treatments have no scientific basis and a Chinese court last year ruled such treatments to be illegal.

Yes, I understand the whole Chinese family values of getting married, having grandchildren, and passing on the gene/surname/whatever doesn't always go hand in hand with homosexuality, but using illegal, inhumane, non-scientific 'treatment' on my gay brothers and sisters is just WRONG in so many levels! As a Chinese myself, I feel so ashamed and sickened by all of this. And the saddest of all is the fact that the Chinese Government is still in big denial when it comes to gay rights, homophobia or being gay is just normal.

Conchita For Bond...

Following in the footsteps of Dame Shirley Bassey, Adele and 'Bitch I'm Madonna', Sam Smith unveils his Writing's On The Wall music video at 00:07am on October 5, which also happens to be (believe it or not) Global James Bond Day!

Anyway, I love Sam but I'm not sure about this new Bond theme. To me, it'd sound better suited for Conchita Wurst. Or even better, just use Conchita's Rise Like A Phoenix as the new Bond theme!

I mean, for Bond's sake. You don't need me to sell this to you - She's a bearded Austrian drag queen who SCREAMS glam. It's Shirley Bassey all over again!

Spectre is released nationwide on October 26.

Yet Another Date...

Just got home from a dinner date with a guy called Ed. The food was great, the conversation was smooth, and he was very pleasant and gentleman-like, but there's something missing that I just can't put my finger on. And somehow (I could be wrong) I can feel that he feels the same way as I do. His last words before we hugged goodbye were, "It's nice meeting you. Hopefully see you again sometimes."

Guilty Pleasure...

Holy Moly! I'd LOVE to duel this very specific kind of 'sword fight' with Corey Cann in the shower at ANYTIME =P

P.S. Does anyone know where can I find the original video of this set of GIF animations? Greatly appreciated =]

Big Congrats Tom...

So, Tom Daley has recently announced his engagement to his boyfriend Dustin Lance Black. Should I congratulate or envy them?

Well, of course it's fantastic they've found happiness together and I do wish them a very happy future together, but at the same time, why do happy couples always fill me with a sense of bitterness and jealousy, and intensify the yearning I have to be loved?

Some people find love easily and naturally. For others, they never find it. I'm one of those who still haven't found it, until the day I meet you. I hope you are still out there.

Still alive! To be honest, I wasn't busy at all this week, I've just been too lazy (and watching way too much Netflix) to update this blog. Yes, I know I'm naughty and I need to be spanked, whipped or handcuffed!

Anyway, I went to a boylesque called Briefs: The Second Coming at the South Bank Centre's London Wonderground on Sunday night, and I swear this was one of the most outrageously brilliant shows I'd ever seen in my entire life!

To summarise, an trashy fun evening with a winning formula of camp, fierce, sassy, sexy comedy and circus and very very gorgeous BOYS!

The Sum Of Us...

Last night, friends and I went to see Australian writer David Stevens' much-loved The Sum Of Us at Above The Stag in Vauxhall. It's a comic drama followed Harry (Stephen Connery-Brown), a straight single widower and his gay 24-year-old son Jeff (Tim McFarland) as they both searching for 'the one'.

The play was hilarious yet very touching. The central relationship at its core was a joy to watch, full of familial intimacy and back-and-forth banter. For a play that revelled in the domestic, there's also an element of fantasy to be had. For so many gay men including myself, the boundariless bond between Harry and Jeff seems unimaginable!

Guilty Pleasure...

So, what could possibly happen next? Well, thank you for some of your imaginative suggestions. I can now reveal the rest of the story, which in fact, doesn't seem like a story with a plot =P

Guilty Pleasure...

What could possibly happen next? Well, send me some suggestions and see if you got the answer correct or not! The answer will be revealed at the same time tomorrow. Come on guys, use your imagination =]

If you haven't had sober sex in the last six months, it hardly makes you a raging drug addict. I'm a big believer that intimate sexual connections form a very important part of our general well-being, and if we're relying too heavily on chems/drugs to fulfil those needs, then there's some kind of problem going on. So, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? Read on...

Okay, I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan but I'm not gonna deny the fact that this Droid looks pretty awesome! My biggest obstacle is it costs £129.99! Still, I think it'd make a great Christmas present =]

Quality Cornish Time...

Hi there, I'm back from Cornwall and I had a GREAT time! Blessed with good weather, we managed to do a lot in four short days.

Strolling along St Ives Bay, checking out Tate St Ives, exploring Land's End, seeing the extraordinary Minack Theatre and Porthcurno Beach, having delicious local seafood at Porthleven, revisiting my old school in Truro, attending Cornwall Pride (which was sh*t), meeting up with my guardians (the family used to look after me when I was studying in Truro), staying overnight at the beautiful Fowley, and finishing off with visiting Antony House. God, I just love Cornwall in summer!

A Cornish Bank Holiday...

This weekend is the last Bank Holiday before Christmas and I'll spend it with Peter Pan road-tripping in Cornwall, where I studied my secondary education for 4 years. So I'll see you all next week. Be good x

Muslim Drag Queens...

Just finished watching an empowering documentary on Channel 4 called Muslim Drag Queens, which explores members of Britain's underground Muslim drag queen community. How do gay Muslims publicly reconcile their sexuality with their cultural identity and traditions?

Now, that's what I would call BRAVE!

Safety Cums First...

SHOWER MATS! Those are important especially for shower sex, which I love! This might not be necessary for all cases, but I had a near-slip recently. No one got hurt, but it's really inconvenient. It kills the mood!

For clarification: Shower mats are mats that have suction cups below them that suck onto the porcelain/slipper floor of a shower. You stand on them while in the shower for traction and to avoid slipping/falling =]

Yet Another Profile...

"6'4" str8forward sporty masc GB guy for fun, dates and more. Often but can be persuaded... Home: SW14. Work: W1. Some people say this app is getting you down? Remember, salmon swim for 1000s of miles just to wank over some eggs and die!"

Well, as mother always said, "Always be POSITIVE, never put negative thoughts/words in your mind (that includes your Grindr profile!) or it'll grow like weeds coming out your ears."

Feeling Dismal...

Yes, we all know Disneyland is a fun place to be but I really wanna go to Banksy's DISMALAND to feel dismal!

Grüß Dich...

So, my parents and my sister were visiting me from Hong Kong for the past two weeks and we spent six nights in Germany (Munich and Berlin) in between, which explained my shortage of updates. Anyway, here are some holiday photos to share with you all! Tschüss =]

Ever since I started this blog back in August 2006, I've experienced so much positivity and encouragement from my readers. I use this blog as a place to share my thoughts, loves, hates and ideas; and it always amazes me that people actually care!

Anyway, before this gets too rambly and 'speech like', I just wanna send out a big, warm hug and huge THANK YOU to everyone who is reading this, or following and supporting me. You are changing my life!

ARTPORN Reload...

Remember Antonio Da Silva, the ARTPORN artist/short filmmaker I did an interview back in January? Well, he recently released two new films called SPUNK and DOGGERS, and as always, Da Silva's works always manage to give me a boner. But not just a penis boner. A boner in my heart. An affection erection.

SPUNK - An experimental documentary where reality and virtual reality blend into a surrealistic sexual collage. 36 minutes long, it showcases digital sex with webcams, mobile phones and the fantasies the participants live through the digital media.

DOGGERS - What is 'Dogging'? Dogging (coming form British slang) is when people meet up in car parks and watch each other having sex. A similar behavior seen in dogs. Sometimes people join in but it is mainly about watching and getting off on it.

Guilty Pleasure...

I know this is kinda a very random question but do you happen to have a 'thing' for watching a fit hairy man wanking his hard cock till he cums with a deep moan? If yes, then you are in for a TREAT!

Sad Studs...

If you love Taylor Swift's Bad Blood music video like I do, then prepare yourself for this amazing parody video called Sad Studs from Jeffery Self & Jake Wilson with an IMPORTANT message, which we have the same 1-year ban in the UK.

P.S. Can I have 3-Legs (played by Jared Techau) please?

Hello Pluto...

Back in August 21, 2006, I blogged a post about several round 'objects' like asteroids or moons that found beyond Neptune could be reclassified as planets in our solar system. Guess what? Today, July 15, 2015, could be the day when NASA's New Horizons spacecraft arrives Pluto, the largest object in the Kuiper belt!

Pluto's Short Planetary Reign

When Pluto was first discovered by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930, many astronomers were certain that a large planet orbited the Sun beyond Neptune. Instead they found Pluto, which turned out to be small compared to Earth and Neptune, though more than double the size of Ceres, with a diameter of 2,300km.

Pluto also has an unusual orbit, as it crosses Neptune’s orbit, though it does so in such a way that it can never collide with Neptune.

Pluto's modern-day troubles began in 1992, when astronomers David Jewitt and Jane Luu discovered the first objects in the region of the solar system now known as the Kuiper Belt, an asteroid belt which is made mostly of house- and mountain-sized chunks of ice that orbit the Sun beyond the orbit of Neptune. Pluto, as it turns out, is one of the biggest 'objects' in the Kuiper Belt.

What is Pluto?

Pluto is the last unexplored planet in our solar system. And the Kuiper Belt may contain hundreds of other planetary worlds like Pluto. These may be the most numerous worlds in the solar system; they may contain, together, the most total surface area of all the solid-surfaced planets.

Pluto has one large moon, Charon, and at least four small moons: Nix, Hydra, Kerberos and Styx. It has an atmosphere that expands and contracts as Pluto warms and cools during its 248 year orbit around the Sun. The surface is likely rich in water ice, enriched with methane and nitrogen and carbon monoxide frosts; these ices might contain complex organic molecules.

The New Horizons mission is poised to answer some of our myriad questions about Pluto. How did it form? What is the atmosphere made of? What is the surface like? Does Pluto have a magnetic field? What are the moons like? Does Pluto have a subsurface ocean? Is the surface of Pluto's moon Charon pure water ice?

Pluto has guarded its secrets for four and half billion years. But in a few months, a few intrepid humans will pull back the curtain on Pluto and say, "Hello, Pluto, we're here!" And Pluto will begin to share her secrets with us. When she does, our familiarity with Pluto will help us recognize that Pluto is, was, and has always been a planet, albeit a small one.

We only get to visit Pluto for the very first time, once. Today. July 15, 2015. In your lifetime. Get ready to party! Pluto is coming home =]

Meet My Precious...

I'm so sorry to have kept you guys waiting so long for another interview of another blog fan. The sad truth is, I haven't received any email from anyone who shows any interest in being featured on my blog ='[

But hey ho, I'm SO over it now and look who I have here! The charming blogger behind the charming Lust Without You.

PR8: First, can you tell my readers a little bit about yourself?
K: I'm originally from South America, Peru. My family moved to Canada 20 years ago escaping terrorism. I speak 3 languages, read 4, currently single, dad of 2 dogs and "daddy" of some others... I have great social skills, but I'm a reclusive person. I'm more of a long-term relationship type of guy although since my last official boyfriend I have accumulated tons of sex-mates =P As the great Garcia Marquez quoted, "Sex is the consolation you have when you cannot have love." Wanna know more? Check out my blog profile HERE!

How did you discover The Ministry of Pleasure?
In all honesty, I don't recall. It's been years that I read it and at my age (I'm 37 but my memory is like 88) that's a difficult question.

How long have you been a reader of TMOP?
Read answer #2

What keeps you coming back to TMOP?
Your personal stories. I feel related to you since our relationships are/were very alike. Our lifestyles are very different, but life happens the same to all of us, gay and straight. We love, we lose, we laugh and we cry.

Anything you would like to see on TMOP in the future?
More music links. Otherwise, great work! Specially this new section introducing awesome people from around the world. #modesty

Hmm, I notice you have a blog too. Tell me more!
No please! I'm embarrassed! People who read always have the wrong impression of me, but if you insist... I've been blogging for about 12 years. I had 4 previous blog and this is my 5th one. We all change with time and my current blog represents me better right now... Easy going, no taboos, outspoken, sexual and playful... HELL!!! In your late 30's is morally acceptable to be a tramp! But, don't listen to me kids.

Complete the sentence, "My guilty pleasure is..."
Porn. Sugar. Blogs.

Boxers, briefs or go commando?
What's a boxer?? what's a brief?? A man who call himself a man, only goes one way and that's commando!

Ask me a question and I'll try to answer it.
If you were "God" for a day, what will you do?
Hmm, if I'm "God" for a day, I'll first cast my wonder onto the heart of every single human being in this world to forget all hatred, prejudice, bigotry and alike to make the world a better place. Then, I'll save all endangered plants and animals from extinction. And finally, I'll make sure I could never be "God" for a day again!

And last but not least. Madonna, yay or nay?
YAY! Only because she's a legend. Her music declined drastically after Ray of Light. If she still relevant in the 2000's is thanks to Confessions on a Dance Floor. Personally, one of my favorite albums from her is Bed Time Stories, a great underrated album.

Thank you K for doing this interview with me! And if you wanna be featured on the next Meet My Precious, simply email me and we can take it from there!

Super Novak...

A big congratulations to Djokovic, who claimed his third Wimbledon title with a never-ending series of brilliant ground-strokes with a 7-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 victory, ensuring that there would be no fairytale triumph for Federer, who also played really well except the last set. Well done!

Seriously, this is brilliantly WRONG on so many levels!!! I feel like I've committed a crime after watching it... And, Harry (Andrew Pirozzi) and Ron (Adrian Anchondo) are geeky HOT HOT HOT!

Tonight, my friend Steve and I went to see a play called Positive at the Park Theatre in Finsbury Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. The set was very minimalist, the story was amazing and the actors did a great job!

Positive is a comedy about living with HIV. No, no, not a gloomy one (no one dies!). It's in fact very funny, truly! It's a play about people and how they handle it, both the positive people and their lovers, friends and families.

To me, this is a play that is totally positive, while pointing out problems, but it works because it's about people not disease, and you wanna know what will happen to and between them.

Guilty Pleasure...

One of the popular gay-theme viral videos this week is this cute short video called 19th Birthday. It's about 'that awkward moment' when a mom and dad set their son up on Jack'd, an online gay dating app, on his brand new phone (as birthday pressie).

Honestly, Jack'd did a great job! I think the video is hilarious yet sweet and that 'RagingBottom96' kid is super cute!
